The Dahoon Holly, also called Christmas-berry, is an evergreen shrub or small tree with rounded, dense crown and abundant, bright red berries. The common name is apparently of native Ameriucan origin. Planted as an ornamental for the evergreen foliage and profuse red fruit used as Christmas decoration.
